Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Michael's Insight

Michael S. Willner co-founded Insight Communications in 1985 and is chief executive officer as well as a director and vice chairman of the board.

As a young boy in Miami, Florida, Michael had a fascination with the television business at a very early age. He often rode his bicycle to the local NBC affiliate after school where the staff allowed him to help out in the studio while they produced and aired a live children's puppet show and the local news.

A hands-on CEO, Michael is a firm believer in open, honest communication. He personally ensures that employees and customers are always well-informed and have input and influence over important Company decisions. This commitment led to a secondary career - that of a leading man in a number of Insight television commercials in which he comfortably plays himself with a great sense of self-deprecating humor.

Michael started his career in 1974 as the program director and news reporter for a small suburban New York cable system after graduating from the Boston University College of Communications. Soon after, he shifted his focus to general management and eventually became the chief operating officer of Vision Cable Communications, a cable company owned by a division of Newhouse Newspapers.

Michael is very active in industry affairs and today is one of cable's most active and effective ambassadors on Capitol Hill, testifying regularly before Congress on industry issues and impending legislation. He has served two consecutive terms as chairman of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), the cable industry's trade organization and currently sits on its executive committee Michael was elected chairman of the board of the Cable Center in 2007 and served for two terms. He serves on the executive committee of CableLabs; on the board of directors of C-SPAN, and the Walter Kaitz Foundation.

A recipient of the NCTA's 2004 Vanguard Award for Distinguished Leadership and a 2005 inductee into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, Michael has yet to achieve his greatest goal of winning an Emmy for his leading role in Insight's commercials.

Dinni Jain

President and Chief Operating Officer

As president and chief operating officer at Insight Communications, Dinni Jain oversees all facets of the Company's operations. As the Company's chief sports fanatic (especially for North Carolina Tar Heels' basketball), he ensures that sporting analogies are infused into the fabric of the Company. He was appointed president in February 2006, having served as chief operating officer since October 2003. He became a college basketball fan at birth.

Working with relentless passion, Dinni is continually moving Insight in an aggressively competitive direction. One of his first acts as COO was to establish a new operating paradigm: one that fostered sustainable growth capability by emphasizing acquisition and retention and replaced cash flow targets with new, more upstream metrics. He expanded the Company's ongoing commitment to the communities it serves by launching cn|2, a programming service that provides 24-hour local weather coverage and a new kind of local news and information reporting; he put renewed focus on building the Insight "bench," and he ensured the Company's technological advantage by investing in new technologies and advanced products and services.

Dinni began his career as an investment banker. After five years of working on Wall Street, he transitioned to the business sector and spent the next 15 years in the competitive cable and cellular phone industries, including serving in the general management of NTL, the United Kingdom's largest cable and telecommunications company.

Dinni was awarded the Vanguard Award for Cable Operations Management in 2009, the most prestigious award conferred by the industry association, The National Cable & Telecommunications Association. He has served on the Foundation Board of CTAM, the cable and telecommunications association for marketing, since 2005 and was elected chairman in 2010.

Although elusive, Dinni apparently works out of an office in Louisville, the seat of Insight's operating headquarters and its largest market. While his office looks like a shrine to his beloved Tar Heels, he prefers to think of it as paying homage to the "rigors and rewards of competitiveness."

John Abbot

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

John Abbot was named executive vice president of Insight Communications in February 2006. He has served as our chief financial officer since he joined the Company in January 2004. John focuses on all of the Company's financial activities including financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting and planning and investor relations. He also oversees the negotiation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

John came to Insight from Morgan Stanley, where he was a managing director in the global media and communications group of the Investment Banking Division. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. John received a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, as well as an ME in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Hamid Heidary

Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Hamid Heidary was named executive vice president for central operations at Insight in April 2006 and was subsequently appointed chief technology officer in February 2008. He oversees a dynamic and cohesive team that has responsibility for all of the Company's central support operations, encompassing the areas of network operations, engineering, project management, business operations and information technology.

A people-oriented, hands-on engineer, Hamid is as much an experienced communicator as he is an engineering wiz and the lines of communication are always open throughout his sizeable operation. His staff meetings are frequent, boisterous and productive. Everyone who works for him knows exactly what is expected of him or her and is provided with the tools and support necessary to get the job done.

Hamid has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and data networking industries. Prior to joining Insight, he served as COO of Iesy Hessen GmbH, a cable television operator in Hessen, Germany, and CTO of NTL:Europe, a multi-national cable operator and telecommunication service provider. During his career, Hamid has also held various executive technical and management positions with NTL UK, C-Cor Electronics, Inc. and Allen Bradley.

Hamid's education includes a BSEE and MSEE from Southern Illinois University, an MBA from California Coast University and a certificate of corporate directorship from the Institute of Directors in London.

Chris Slattery

Executive Vice President, Operations

Chris Slattery was named executive vice president of operations for Insight Communications in February 2006. He oversees customer growth; field and district operations; sales and marketing; customer care; programming; talent management and training; and human resources. He joined the Company as senior vice president of sales in October 2004.

Prior to joining Insight, Chris served as a managing director of the London operations of NTL, a multinational cable operator and telecommunication service provider. In this capacity, he was responsible for sales, growth strategy, reduction of churn and customer experience for 1.5 million cable homes.

During his tenure with NTL, Chris held a number of different leadership positions. As sales director, European operations in 2001, he was responsible for designing, developing and implementing customer growth strategies across NTL's then newly-acquired European assets. And, as a general manager of NTL's United Kingdom operations in 2000, he had overall responsibility for sales and marketing, customer retention, customer care and network maintenance, as well as budget strategy, planning and implementation. Prior to 2000, Chris served in a variety of sales-related roles at the company and its predecessors.

Elliot Brecher

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Elliot Brecher has served as Insight's senior vice president, general counsel and secretary since January 2000. He oversees all of the Company's corporate and business legal activities including corporate and finance transactions, securities law compliance and governance matters.

Prior to joining Insight, Elliot was a partner of the law firm Cooperman Levitt Winikoff, which later merged with SNR Denton. Having represented Insight on a number of acquisitions, financings and ultimately its IPO in 1999, he made the decision to "cross over to the dark side" and join its ranks. Elliot has since led the legal efforts in growing Insight through financing and acquiring cable systems in joint ventures with TCI, AT&T Broadband and Comcast, followed by Insight's going-private merger with Carlyle in 2005, and in its division and transition from Comcast in 2008. Most recently, Elliot led the legal efforts in the purchase of an equity position in Insight by an investor group led by Crestview and MidOcean, as well as related recapitalization, dividend and financing transactions.

Elliot received his law degree from Fordham University in 1988. After graduation, he worked as an associate at the law firm Rosenman & Colin, which is now Katten Muchin Rosenman.

While Elliot doesn't have much of a life during the week, with after-hours hobbies that include little league, youth hockey and soccer, and homework with his kids, he takes much pride in being a weekend softball warrior.

Sandra D. Colony

Senior Advisor, Employee Communications

As our senior advisor for employee communications, Sandy Colony is responsible for corporate and trade media relations, industry association relations, special events and internal communications.

Committed to delivering company messaging in a friendly and meaningful way, Sandy creates and produces employee videos. In this capacity, she is frequently on the road visiting Insight locations to tape and edit video footage. In her capacity as intrepid world traveler, she visits much more remote regions of the world such as Papua New Guinea, the Dogon communities of Mali, the steppes of Mongolia and the highlands of Uganda (to observe highland gorillas), to name a few.

A 20-year veteran of the cable industry, Sandy joined Insight in 2004, having served in various capacities at Time Warner Cable of New York City, Food Network, Road Runner and MystroTV. Prior to joining the cable industry, she was active in the not-for-profit sector, serving as executive director of NARAL in New York State.

A political activist for a number of years and a die-hard feminist, Sandy has served on several charitable boards and committees. Currently, she is on the executive board of directors for the Association of Cable Communicators and has served on the board of directors of Women in Cable Telecommunications. She is a graduate of Skidmore College and has a master's degree in psychology from The New School of Social Research.

Kevin Dowell

Senior Vice President, Insight Media

Kevin Dowell serves as senior vice president of Insight Media, the Company's advertising sales arm. He joined the Company in 2001 as vice president, advertising sales and was promoted in February 2005. He is responsible for all advertising sales efforts across Insight's many product offerings, including cable television networks, high-speed Internet properties and interactive services.

During his tenure, Kevin has spearheaded a number of initiatives that have helped to make advertising a significant revenue stream for Insight. This includes all revenue and promotional efforts for cn|2, the Company’s locally programmed news and sports programming channel.

With more than 23 years of advertising sales experience, Kevin has held positions with Times Mirror (Tribune), Jones Intercable, Inc. and AT&T. Prior to joining Insight, he was chairman of the board of the Chicago Interconnect, the nation's first fully-integrated single-point advertising platform. He is a member of the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau's (CAB) board of directors and its executive committee and is a past recipient of the CAB President's Award. He is a graduate of Arizona State University.

When not promoting the advantages of advertising on cable television to anyone who will listen, (a conversation he will initiate at anytime, anywhere), Kevin enjoys spending time with his family boating on the many lakes around Northern Illinois. He also remains firmly committed to supporting his Chicago Bears in their endless pursuit of another Super Bowl ring.

Ishmel Goodrum

Senior Vice President, Network Operations

Ishmel Goodrum is Insight's senior vice president of network operations, managing the entire operation of the Company's vast network and monitoring every element. He served as the network operations vice president for five years and was promoted to his current position in January 2011.

Since joining Insight in March of 2007, Ishmel has built an expert organization and a technically advanced Network Operations Center (NOC) that is responsible for day-to-day technical operations and providing end-to-end support for internal and external customer impacting issues. A former Marine, he insists on a no-nonsense process-oriented approach and, in large part because of his insistence on meticulous scrutiny of the performance of every router and every switch, he and his team have transformed our network, enabling dramatic increases in the speeds of our HSI service and the launch of VoIP across our footprint.

With an acute awareness that the central operations team and the field technical team must work closely together, he has also focused on developing and managing communications to and between the two. He established a partnership with IT and engineering to create, oversee, and document support change management programs and works closely with technical operations managers to alert them proactively of problems and potential solutions.

Prior to joining Insight, Ishmel was responsible for network service assurance at Charter Communications, the nation's fifth largest service provider. In that role, he directed the efforts of Charter's National Network Operations Center (NNOC) and Charter’s Business Network Operations Center (BNOC). Before joining Charter, he held several network and technical operations leadership roles at AT&T Broadband, MediaOne and Continental Cablevision.

Ishmel is an active member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and enjoys participating in their technical meetings as well as those sponsored by the industry organization CableLabs. When Ishmel isn't in the office or traveling to our districts to lead network improvement efforts, you may find him on a leather seat grabbing the handlebars of his motorcycle enjoying the rolling hills of the Bluegrass state (as the weather permits). He is also an avid traveler, partial to tropical destinations where there is plenty of sun, sand and catamarans.

Gregg Graff

Senior Vice President, Field Operations

As senior vice president of field operations at Insight, Gregg Graff is responsible for developing Insight's sales and marketing strategies and tactical programs. A quintessential multi-tasker, he also serves as the district vice president for cable operations in Columbus, Ohio. While he would most likely prefer to be working on becoming a better snow-skier or wake-boarder, the reality is he is much more focused on helping Insight as a whole and Columbus in particular to get better and better in the areas of sales, marketing and operations.

Gregg started in the cable business in 1984 with Continental Cablevision and he joined Insight in August of 1998. It wasn't his choice – Insight bought the company that he was working for at the time. His 14 years of marketing and programming experience landed him in, of all things, two operational roles during the subsequent five years.

Gregg was finally rescued by Dinni Jain and returned to the marketing and product side of the business in 2003. He promptly shed the coat and tie for the familiar black uniform of the sales executive and beamed his laser focus on implementing new sale initiatives for the Company.

These days, managing Columbus while also focusing on companywide direct sales and telesales is pretty demanding of his time so Gregg can't be on the slopes as much as he would like and hang in the moguls like he once could. But, Insight's got some amazing products to talk about and a lot of customers left to win over from the competition, so the priorities have been set. (Of course he's actually figured out to make a living selling cable products – something that ain't gonna happen with skiing or boarding.)

Melani Griffith

Senior Vice President, Programming and Video Services

Melani Griffith is senior vice president, programming and video services for Insight and is responsible for the strategy and management of the video product as well as the negotiation of all of Insight's programming contracts.

With the constantly evolving video platforms, the addition of a large number of channels in HD as well as the rapid expansion of OnDemand content, Melani and her team are in constant negotiation mode while simultaneously developing strategies for the introduction of new enhancements for the video product.

Melani has over 14 years of programming and sales experience in the cable industry and has been recognized within the industry on multiple occasions for her achievements. In 2009, she was named one of Cable's Rising Stars by the industry publication Multichannel News and in 2010 was named a Cable "Wonder Woman" by the industry association, Women in Cable Telecommunications.

Prior to joining Insight, Melani worked in advertising sales at FOX Cable Networks as well as affiliate sales at AMC Networks and at Discovery Communications, Inc. She earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of California at Los Angeles and a master's degree in business administration from Columbia Business School.

Racing between all of Insight's locations keeps Melani very much on the move – and she can move fast – a consequence of keeping up with her twin daughters who think watching mom tear after them is great fun.

John Grismore

Vice President, Insight Business

John Grismore heads up our commercial services arm, Insight Business, which provides high-speed Internet, telephony and state-of-the-art video to small and large businesses in our footprint. He joined Insight in April of 2008, moving from the mountains of Washington State to the rolling hills of Kentucky.

John began his cable career in 1983 in Sandy, Utah working for Community Television of Utah, a TCI company. On his first sales call, he found himself bidding against the other cable operator in town, Insight Communications. Back in the early '80s, Insight was strategically building CATV systems in the growth path of large cities. Subsequently, in the early '90s while John was traveling throughout the country installing a business customer database in the TCI cable systems, he first saw the cable systems which today make up Insight Communications.

John has led business services divisions for Rocky Mountain Telephone Company, TCI Cable, AT&T Broadband, Sprint Broadband Direct and Charter Communications. He received an MBA from the Foster School of Business, University of Washington in 1997 and in 2004 was appointed to the Vancouver, Washington City/County Telecommunications Commission.

Keith Hall

Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel

Keith A. Hall is Insight's senior vice president and deputy general counsel. Prior to his current position, he served in a variety of capacities including outside counsel, vice president for government and regulatory affairs and senior vice president for government affairs.

In his role, Keith leads the external affairs department which is responsible for the development and advocacy of the Company's public policy positions at the federal, state and local level. His department is also responsible for community and local media relations and partners with Insight Business and Insight Media, driving revenue from the public sector to these entities. Keith is also a key player on the Company’s legal team and has managed several multi-million dollar pieces of litigation to a successful conclusion.

Keith and his wife Leah Pepper live with their St. Bernard in Norton Commons, a community in northeast Jefferson County, Kentucky. Actively engaged in the civic affairs of the Commonwealth, Keith chairs the capital campaign to expand the University of Louisville baseball stadium and is a member of the board of directors of the Kentucky Philanthropy Initiative, the Kentucky Cable Telecommunications Association and the Insight Foundation, Insight's charitable organization. A native of Mason County in northeastern Kentucky, he counts among his highest honors his receipt of the 2004 Distinguished Alumnus Award for Mason County High School. Keith is also an Eagle Scout.

Keith is a graduate of the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and Centre College, where he was student body president. He has been active in politics, serving as a delegate to the 1992 Republican National Convention, one of Kentucky's eight presidential electors in 2004, and as a top congressional and gubernatorial aide. Most recently, he was nominated by US Congressman Ben Chandler (D-Lexington) to serve as one of 25 people to represent the United States at the annual Young Leaders Conference hosted by the American Swiss Foundation each year in Switzerland.

Pamela Euler Halling

Senior Vice President, Brand

Pam Euler Halling, senior vice president, brand, has over 30 years of experience in the cable industry and has held a number of different marketing positions at Insight during her 20+ years with the Company. She currently oversees Insight's brand strategy and is the person behind the "look and feel," the attributes, personality and overall positioning of brand Insight.

Prior to joining the Company, Pam held marketing positions at Walt Disney Company in Burbank, Rainbow Programming Services in New York, and Cox Communications in San Diego. She began her cable career with Continental Cablevision in Findlay, Ohio.

Pam has been honored with several industry awards including the Vanguard Award for Marketing in 2001 from NCTA, the Wonder Woman award in 2003 given annually by an industry publication, Multichannel News, and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009 from CableFax magazine. She has served on the board of CTAM, the industry marketing association, as well as Cable Positive, an organization which helped build awareness for and preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.

She truly loves the cable industry and feels very fortunate and proud to have spent much of her cable career at Insight. Outside of the office, her sources of everyday pleasure include her family, friends, cats, piano, art, books, and home in New York's Hudson Valley. She is a native of Bowling Green, Ohio where she grew up on a farm with access to only a few off-air TV stations - one of the reasons, she believes, her career in cable was pretty much inevitable.

John W. ("Woody") Hutton

Senior Vice President, District Operations

John W. "Woody" Hutton is Insight's senior vice president of district operations. He joined Insight in 1999 as general manager of the Lexington, Kentucky system (via acquisition) and was promoted in 2002 to senior vice president, operations. In this capacity he has been called upon to lead the company's largest operation in Louisville, Kentucky, which includes portions of southern Indiana. In January 2011, he assumed overall responsibility for all of the Company’s districts outside of Louisville.

As Insight continues to aggressively add new advanced services and products, Woody is instrumental in working to operationalize their launch and takes a leadership role in directing specific company projects. Working closely with the product management team and his own team of district vice presidents, he focuses on providing direction to the company and evaluating business opportunities for maximum efficiency in district operations.

Woody is a seasoned cable executive, having joined the industry in 1982 with Centel Cable following his graduation from Florida State University. In 2009, CableFAX Magazine acknowledged his accomplishments and named him the Top Regional Executive in the cable industry.

An active individual, Woody enjoys numerous outdoor activities.

Tim Klinefelter

Senior Vice President, Operations - Louisville District

Tim Klinefelter is senior vice president for cable operations in Louisville, Kentucky, Insight's largest market and home to the Company's Tier 2 support group. A troubleshooter par excellence, Tim previously managed Insight systems in Columbus, Ohio and Florence, Kentucky. In each, his energetic and engaged style brought out the best in his teams and resulted in demonstrable success across his operations.

A 34-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Tim acquired his considerable skills the old-fashioned way. He started his career in 1977 at United Artists and over the years has assumed a number of roles including technical operations manager, general manager and director of operations at various MSOs including TCI, Comcast and Charter. With each new position, he assumed more responsibility and earned a reputation as strong leader who enthusiastically tackled complex challenges.

Tim earned his bachelor's degree of business management at Trinity University. He attended CTAM University at the Harvard Business School and over the years, multiple courses in technical training at NCTI & SCTE as well as courses for performance management, team building and leadership.

Tim is an avid baseball fan and can usually be found at a baseball park in his time away from work. He enjoys photography and traveling with his wife of 36 years.

Rocco Laurenzano

Senior Vice President, Project Management

Named senior vice president of project management in January 2011, Rocco Laurenzano oversees the team responsible for the management of all major company-wide customer-impacting projects. Rocco joined Insight in 2005 as director of change management. As the role of the department expanded and Rocco's responsibilities increased, change management became project management and Rocco was promoted to vice president.

Some of the significant projects that Rocco has led over the past five years include the launch of the Company's VoIP phone service in 2006-2007and overseeing the Company's 2007-2008 split from Comcast. In 2010, his team took on the formidable challenge of taking the Company's video service to an all-digital platform - a process that involved just about every department in the Company and touched thousands of customers.

Rocco has spent his entire professional career in the telecommunications/cable industry. Prior to joining Insight, he served as a manager of voice engineering for Comcast's Business division in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. He also held project management and engineering positions with AT&T and ThruPoint Inc. after graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1998.

Although Rocco holds the distinction of being Insight's youngest senior vice president he feels his greatest achievement is his family, and he is happiest when spending time with his wife and two young children.

Bam Liem

Senior Vice President, Advanced Services Engineering

Bam Liem was named Insight's senior vice president of advanced services engineering in January 2011, having served in this position as vice president for 4 1/2 years. He has oversight for the technology design, engineering, development, integration, validation and deployment of the Company's external and corporate IP data & VoIP phone networks. He holds these same responsibilities for the Company’s network-facing support systems.

Bam has over 29 years experience in engineering, IS/IT and operations environments, having worked at a number of large telecommunication companies. Some of the former include Bell Canada, Canada’s largest telephone company, Charter Communications, currently the fourth largest cable company in the United States and Accenture, currently the largest systems integrator in the world.

While an associate partner at Accenture, Bam was responsible for architecting solutions in system integration projects as well as the program management and execution of projects, such as the CRM/BSS/OSS design, development & deployment at WINfirst (now SureWest), a FTTH over-builder in Sacramento. He had engineering and system integration responsibilities working at Jones Intercable, Nortel, Dynamic City (a public FTTH project in Utah) and Bell Sygma Telecom Solutions (now CSC).

Bam has a bachelor's degree in mathematics, majoring in computer science, from the University of Waterloo in Canada. He is a fully-certified science fiction fan and his wife Lily is an avid gardener who grows orchids for fun. Bam and Lily have two sons: Kenny who is in college and enjoys rock climbing and camping and Ethan, who is two years younger than Kenny, is an avid gamer and enjoys making short movies with his friends. Sadly for Bam, neither of his sons wants to be an engineer.

Daniel Mannino

Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer

Dan Mannino is Insight's senior vice president of finance and chief accounting officer. He oversees the Company's daily financial and accounting activities, and is responsible for ensuring compliance with all SEC rules and regulations as well as the publication of all financial reports. Dan joined Insight as controller in 1989, became vice president and controller in 1991, was appointed senior vice president in 1999 and became chief accounting officer in 2007.

A 25+ year veteran of the cable industry, Dan first joined its ranks in 1983 following a couple of years in public accounting. He first joined Vision Cable and within three years rose to become the Company's controller. He left Vision in 1989 to join the core team at Insight and since that time has never looked back. He has helped Insight transition through numerous corporate and financial structures – sometimes expanding, sometimes contracting, but always moving forward.

A certified public accountant, Dan is also a true blue New Yorker and an avid tennis player. When not running numbers, he enjoys sampling some of New York's best restaurants. On any given weekend he might be found on the tennis court improving his impressive game or – when the weather permits - heading straight for the nearest beach.

Paul Meltzer

Senior Vice President, Product Management

Paul Meltzer is Insight's senior vice president of product management and he is responsible for the continuous reinvention of our high-speed Internet and telephony products. Since his arrival in 2006, we have increased the speeds of our Insight Broadband service to 10.0 megs, then 20.0 megs and now 50.0 megs, to become the fastest widely available service in all the states we serve. In that same time, we have deployed a VoIP phone service across almost our entire footprint.

When he's not working, Paul can be found alternately roaming the streets of Brooklyn and the prairies of north Texas. Splitting his time between two such dissimilar terrains comes naturally to an Insight multi-tasker. He's as enthused by a genuine Brooklyn bagel and a bike ride over the East River bridges as by chicken fried steak near the courthouse and a night doing a fair facsimile of swing dancing in a honky tonk.

Paul has spent the last decade working in the cable industry, much of it developing the Optimum Online business at Cablevision. His previous adventures included launching digital TV for Continental Cablevision/MediaOne and developing and launching new products for divisions of General Mills and the Campbell Soup Company. He earned a MBA at the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, a bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Wesleyan University, and a doctorate in hard knocks from the New York City subway system.

Jim Morgan

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

As our senior vice president of human resources, Jim Morgan has long worked to maximize the partnership between Insight and our employees. His understanding of the wide variety of issues that affect our people and programs comes by way of a 25-year law career in labor and employment matters. In fact, he served as our outside employment counsel since the Company’s beginning in 1985. Jim believes simply that our success is best achieved by providing our employees a work environment that is open and fair.

When Jim joined Insight in 2003, he and his family relocated to New York from New Orleans, where he practiced law after graduating from Tulane University in 1978. This marked somewhat of a return home - Jim and his wife Kathy live on Long Island close to where Kathy grew up. Their return to the Northeast also enables Jim to spend a little more time fishing on the lakes of southern Ontario in his native Canada.

Scott Schneiderman

Senior Vice President, Operational Finance

Scott Schneiderman is our Senior Vice President of Operational Finance, where he is responsible for identifying opportunities to make the operations more efficient (read: make more money). He joined the company in 2004 as Vice President,Financial Planning and Strategy.

While not hounding his colleagues for deeper analysis or increased cash flow, Scott is dodging trees and trying not to break any limbs during his weekend mountain biking excursions. As a misplaced Southerner, he also enjoys finetuning his barbeque recipes and taking advantage of the food, museums, and sporting events in the Big Apple.

Scott came to Insight from a career on Wall Street. He spent time in private equity at a firm he founded, Madison Park Partners, and as a Director at The CIT Group. He also spent five years executing M&A transactions at Barclays and as an analyst at JP Morgan. Scott holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and is also a proud Tarheel, where he spent his undergraduate days.

Sidney R. Knafel

Chairman

Sidney R. Knafel co-founded Insight and has served as chairman of the board since 1985. He serves as chairman of the governance committee and is a member of the audit committee. Mr. Knafel was the founder, Chairman and an equity holder of Vision Cable Communications, Inc. from 1971 until its sale in 1981. Mr. Knafel is presently the managing partner of SRK Management Company, a private investment company. He is the lead independent director of General American Investors Company, Inc., and is a director of IGENE Biotechnology, Inc. and VirtualScopics, Inc., as well as several private companies. Mr. Knafel is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

Michael S. Willner

Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Michael S. Willner co-founded Insight and has served as chief executive officer since 1985. Mr. Willner has also served as vice chairman since August 2002 and as president from 1985 to August 2002 and from August 2003 to February 2006. Mr. Willner served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Vision Cable Communications from 1979 through 1985, vice president of marketing for Vision Cable from 1977 to 1979 and general manager of Vision Cable's Bergen County, New Jersey cable television system from 1975 to 1977.
