Display Screen Settings

Change your cable box LED display screen.

For those cable boxes that have an LED display screen on the front of them, you have the option to have the time displayed or the current channel that you are watching. It's up to you. Here's how to adjust the display screen settings.
  • Press Menu twice.
  • Arrow down or up. Select Setup.
  • Select Cable Box Setup. Press OK.
  • Select Front LED Display and press the right arrow to toggle between Current Channel and Current Time.
  • Press Exit.

Who's going to keep an eye on the kids when you can't?

Parental locks are the answer. You pick the shows they watch, the stuff they order, even the titles they see. And programming is a snap, you do it all from your remote.
  • Press Menu twice.
  • Select Parental Controls, Press OK.
  • Make up a 4-digit PIN, Press Enter.
  • Use Locks Setup screen to lock ratings, channels, and titles.
Hide adult titles on your program guide by using the last feature on this screen. Press down arrow to highlight Show, then left arrow until you see Hide.

For the fastest route to your favorite shows, use Favorites.

Whats's happening on your favorite channels? Get to them quickly and easily by programming favorites right from your remote.
  • Press Menu twice.
  • Select My Favorite Channels. Press OK.
  • Select Set up Favorite List. Press OK.
Edit list or add more lists by selecting Setup on the main menu (press Menu twice then press down arrow until you see Setup).

  • Press OK.
  • Press the up/down buttons to browse time and channels.

That means smoother access to find exacly what you want to watch. Watch it when you want, and as often as you want - with thousands of movies and shows at any time (and, oh yeah, most of them are FREE!). It's a virtual video store hooked up to your TV. Important Note: DVR receivers may have more advanced features than standard digital boxes. For example, the DVR onscreen guide can display a picture of the current channel in the upper right hand corner of your TV screen while searching through the TV listings. Your standard definition box(es) do not have this feature.
